When to come in

Ideally six to eight weeks before you travel, as some vaccines need more than one dose. A flu shot takes about two weeks to work, and yellow fever vaccination needs to be at least 10 days before you travel. If you’re leaving sooner, still come in.

Yellow fever vaccination

We’re an authorised yellow fever vaccination centre. For everything about yellow fever and certificates, visit our yellow fever clinic site.

Hajj and Umrah

Saudi Arabia requires meningococcal vaccination for pilgrims. Come in early so your certificate is ready in time.

Cost

The cost depends on which vaccines you need. If you have Medicare, part of your consultation is covered, and some vaccines are free under the National Immunisation Program if you’re eligible. Many private health insurance extras policies help with the cost of travel vaccines. Call 02 9389 8000 to ask about pricing.
