Medical certificates for work

Sick and can’t make your shift? The doctor can provide a medical certificate when it’s appropriate.

Paying when you’re on a working holiday

Most working holiday makers aren’t covered by Medicare. You pay at the end of your visit and can claim on your travel or visitor health insurance using your itemised receipt. If you hold Overseas Visitor Health Cover, bring your card.

From the UK, Ireland or New Zealand? You may be eligible for Medicare under a Reciprocal Health Care Agreement.

Travelling on after Sydney?

Heading to Bali, South-East Asia or South America next? Walk in for travel vaccines before you go.
